Inside My Head
- Pollen-less flowers & trees would be an awesome invention.
- Daycares are germ infested necessities.
- House builders in the early 1900's did not forecast the need for big enough garages / driveways to hold SUVs.
- The first year of life goes so fast until you start thinking of it in terms of how many more months you have to bottle feed.
- Will Nate saying "Sister Lou in the Hooooouse" always crack me up even though he says it 22 times a day? Yes.
- Mothers are a gift from God. Do I tell the mothers in my life I love them enough?
- Anything with the name Star Wars on it has a minimum of 138 small parts. Which are all on my coffee table.
- Did we really have to run the heat in May?
- I think I could survive on Diet Coke, Special-K Red Berries, and Reduced Fat Cheez-its. Whoops. Left out an adult beverage or two. Or maybe 3 after this week.
- What is the higher meaning of a flood? Interesting thought to ponder...
Well there you go folks. Inside my head. You're welcome.
Big thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers about my dear Mississippi County. Here's to hoping the water recedes quickly!

Unreal
[The levee being blasted last night] Please join me in sending many positive thoughts and prayers to the communities affected by the flood in Mississippi County (as well as many other surrounding counties in MO & IL). The project to blast the levee began at 9:00 PM last night and should hopefully conclude later this morning. I'm extremely thankful that my family is safe but my heart breaks for everyone that is losing homes and farm land. The losses will be devastating. It's all just a little too much. And alot unreal. If you would like more information about the flood, go here.
