Zoo with the Bakers

Great day at the zoo with the Bakers yesterday. We braved it despite the forecast and almost missed the rain. Nate & Myra have so much fun together and we all had to run to keep up with them.

Dogwood Azalea 2010

Dogwood Azalea Festival was fabulous this year. The weather was gorgeous and dogwoods & azaleas did not disappoint.

Watching the parade - it was a long one. Election year.

Nate was the only kid for what seemed liked miles around. So he racked up on the candy. I tried to conveniently leave the bag at my parents house, but the plan didn't work!

Weekend Edition & Peter's Party

Nate and I went to the Botanical Gardens on Friday. It was breathtaking - everything in bloom and gorgeous. And my camera was dead. I almost cried. But we probably had a better time because I wasn't obsessed with taking pictures. But I'm still sad about it! We had a great time exploring, finding trails, and arguing about the names of flowers (he definitely has some Corse in him).

Here's the little flower expert on Saturday, sporting some shades and eating melted thin mints. Yum.

On Saturday afternoon, Nate & I attended Peter's 4th Birthday Party. We are so proud of all Peter has accomplished in 4 years and it was a treat to get to meet his school friends. The proud parents before cake.

Lovely weather in STL for the foreseeable future - although I could with a little less pollen. I would like my front porch to be khaki, not yellow. Off to the Azalea Festival this weekend and hopefully I can remember to charge my camera.

Easter 2010

We had a great day - hunted eggs, went to church, took a long nap, and had a wonderful dinner with Evan, Olga & Elena. What a cutie-patootie! Here she is devouring an iced cookie.
